COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — New South Carolina coach Will Muschamp has added junior college defensive back Jamarcus King.
The school announced King's signing Wednesday. King will enroll in January and have two seasons to play at South Carolina
He's a 6-foot-1, 170-pound cornerback from Eight Mile, Alabama, who played the last two seasons at Coffeyville Community College in Kansas. King had 37 tackles with three interceptions and 10 pass breakups as Coffeyville went 8-3 this past fall.
Muschamp took over as the permanent successor earlier this month to Steve Spurrier.
