WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP) — Purdue has signed three junior college football transfers and one early prep recruit.

Coach Darrell Hazell made the announcement Wednesday. All four can participate in offseason workouts.

The signees are 6-foot-3, 250-pound defensive end Austin Larkin, a nephew of Hall of Fame baseball player Barry Larkin, and Jack Wegher from the IMG Academy in Florida. Wegher's brother, Brandon, plays for the Carolina Panthers.

Larkin had 38 tackles and seven sacks last season at City College of San Francisco.

Wegher averaged 8.1 yards per carry and 12.0 yards per reception.

Purdue also got Kamal Hardy, a cornerback from Monroe Community College in Rochester, New York, and Jalen Neal, an offensive tackle from Scottsdale Community College in Arizona.
