AMES, Iowa (AP) — Iowa State coach Matt Campbell has signed five junior college players to bolster the Cyclones in 2016.

Iowa State announced Wednesday that Campbell has brought in two defensive backs, a pair of linemen and a tight end. All five will enroll for the spring semester.

Perhaps the most intriguing new Iowa State player is defensive back D'Andre Payne, a former four-star recruit who played at Tennessee as a freshman in 2014 before redshirting last year at a junior college.

The linemen are Oge Odeogu and Karson Green, the tight end is Clifford Fernandez and the other defensive back is Thadd Daniels.
