SAN ANTONIO, Texas (AP) — Lucas O'Brien, Gino Littles and Christian Wilson scored 12 points apiece to help Texas-San Antonio beat Division II East Central (Okla.) 75-61 Wednesday.
Ryan Bowie and George Matthews each added 10 points for UTSA (2-9). O'Brien made 5 of 7 field goals, grabbed seven rebounds and had three steals, while Wilson finished with five assists and four steals. The Roadrunners had a season-high 15 steals.
East Central led by eight midway through the first half but Wilson scored six in a row, and 10 total, as UTSA outscored the Tigers 28-10 over the final 9:13 to take a 39-29 lead into the break.
The Roadrunners opened the second half with a 6-0 run and led by double figures the rest of the way.
Braxton Reeves scored 12 and Ishmael Donzo added 10 for East Central.
UTSA outrebounded the Tigers 46-28, including 13-5 on the offensive glass.
