TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) — Two Arizona State players have been dismissed from the football team after being arrested and accused of burglary at a Tempe apartment complex.
Court documents say 21-year-old sophomore safety Jayme Ebarbarireos Otomewo and 21-year-old junior defensive tackle Deonte Lamar Reynolds were arrested Saturday at the campus-area apartment complex where the documents say the two men live.
According to the documents, Otomewo and Reynolds were arrested after police went to the apartment complex in response to a report of a burglary in progress, speaking with the caller and after finding Otomewo and Reynolds nearby.
The two men did not have attorneys when they made initial court appearances, and neither has a phone listed under his name.
