LAS VEGAS (AP) — Police say a medical episode may be involved, but the Clark County coroner says it'll take a while to determine what killed a 50-year-old Henderson man who crashed the minivan into a block wall behind a Las Vegas Strip resort.
The coroner on Monday identified the dead man as Dominic F. Savelio.
Las Vegas police say Savelio was pronounced dead at University Medical Center after the crash about 8:40 p.m. Sunday at Jay Sarno Way and Frank Sinatra Drive.
That's behind Caesars Palace.
Police say the 2006 Dodge Caravan jumped a curb and slammed into a block wall at about 25 mph.
The death isn't being counted as a traffic-related death pending findings from the medical examiner.
