PHOENIX (AP) — Devin Patterson scored 26 points and forced overtime with a pair of free throws to lift Nebraska-Omaha past Grand Canyon 108-104 in overtime Sunday.

Omaha (5-5) never led in regulation but quickly edged ahead in the extra period with a 5-0 spurt fueled by Jake White, making it 99-94. Grand Canyon's Dominic Magee tied the game at 101 on a 3-point play with 1:38 left before White's 3-pointer at the other end put Omaha ahead for good.

Patterson forced OT with a pair of free throws at the end of regulation, then sealed the win at the line in the final seconds of overtime. He made 11 of 12 free throws.

White got 23 points, Tra-Deon Hollins added 18 and Tim Smallwood and Kyler Erickson had 11 apiece.

Magee and Grandy Glaze led Grand Canyon with 29 points each, which were career-highs for both.
