NORMAN, Okla. (AP) — Freshman Gabbi Ortiz made six 3-pointers and scored a season-best 22 points, and No. 17 Oklahoma beat Texas San Antonio 80-41 on Sunday for its eighth victory in a row.

Ortiz and Peyton Little made back-to-back 3-pointers early in a decisive third quarter that Oklahoma controlled 27-9. Texas San Antonio went without a field goal for seven minutes and was outscored 16-1 during the stretch.

Kaylon Williams had her first double-double of the season with 16 points and 12 rebounds for Oklahoma (9-1). She had 10 and 10 in the first half. Little made a 3-pointer in her 15th straight game for the fifth-longest streak in program history and finished with six points.

Carlie Heineman led Texas San Antonio (2-4) with 12 points.

Heineman made three consecutive 3-pointers at the start of the second quarter to pull Texas San Antonio to 21-18. But Oklahoma closed the half on a 13-4 spurt for a 34-22 lead.
