Seaborn leads Monmouth to 73-54 win over Wagner

WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. (AP) — Micah Seaborn scored 19 points and Monmouth cruised to a 73-54 win over Wagner on Sunday.

Chris Brady added 15 points, Justin Robinson 12 and Deon Jones 10 for the Hawks (6-3).

Mike Aaman hit 6-of-9 shots for 12 points but the rest of the Seahawks (5-3) struggled to find their shooting touch. Wagner shot 24 percent in the first half to fall behind 32-20. The Seahawks finished at 33 percent, going 6 of 24 from 3-point range, and were 6 of 12 from the foul line.

Monmouth shot 56 percent in the second half (14 of 25) to finish at 51 percent for the game, which included 8 of 16 from 3-point range. The Hawks also went 15 of 18 from the foul line. Seaborn hit 3 of 5 behind the arc and had four assists.
