MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — Dedric Lawson scored 21 points and grabbed eight rebounds as Memphis rolled over Manhattan 89-57 on Saturday night.

Lawson did it with 10-of-16 shooting from the field for the Tigers (6-2). Markel Crawford added 16 points and Shaq Goodwin and Trashon Burrell had 13 points apiece. The team averaged 58.9 percent shooting from the field and had a 39-27 rebounding edge over Manhattan.

Lawson followed a dunk with a tip shot to give Memphis a 27-24 lead with 8:19 left in the first period. Manhattan finished the half on a 10-2 run and the Tigers trailed 38-36 at the break.

Goodwin capped a 9-2 run with a dunk to open the second half, putting Memphis back up 45-40. Crawford hit a jumper and Burrell dunked to take the Tigers to 64-46 with 8:27 to play.

Shane Richards led the Jaspers (1-7) with 17 points and eight rebounds.
