3 teens arrested after gun found at Panhandle school

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Three teens are accused of bringing a firearm onto the campus of Surfside Middle School in Panama City Beach.

According to the Bay County Sheriff's Office, the boys ages 13 and 14 were arrested Wednesday.

The News Herald of Panama City (http://bit.ly/1HWvbWu ) reports the teens have been charged with possession of a firearm on school property. The newspaper reports the sheriff's office received a tip Wednesday that the 14-year-old brought the gun to school and the two younger boys were also found to be involved.

No further details were immediately available.
