ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — A.J. Davis scored 14 points and Central Florida outlasted Massachusetts 67-63 on Tuesday.

UCF led by as many as nine early in the second half, but UMass rallied to lead 63-61 with 1:17 left. UCF's Daiquan Walker hit a jumper to tie it at 63, Shaheed Davis' layup with 3 seconds left provided the game-winner, and Davis added a pair of free throws to ice it.

UMass had a pair of misses, a turnover and a foul in the last 21 seconds.

UCF (4-3) got 11 points and eight rebounds from Adonys Henriquez, while Walker finished with 10 points and four assists.

Trey Davis scored 20 points for UMass (5-3). Davis was 7 of 23 from the floor with four 3-pointers, though those came on 14 attempts. Jabarie Hinds had 14 points and Donte Clark added 12 points.
