This is Fred Ball for Zions Bank, speaking on business.

Constructing a building is a huge task. Most of us can't comprehend the magnitude of planning, designing, constructing and funding a facility. There are so many steps involved, from visualizing a need to completing a project. It is a time-consuming task that necessitates great expertise, experience and skill.

Salt Lake City-based Bonneville Builders recognizes these challenges and is structured around successfully managing the building process and delivering an exceptional product. The company's projects include office, retail, light industrial, apartment, medical, movie-theater and mixed-use space.

One area of specialty is in building hi-tech office parks. President John Tebbs proudly showed me some of the company's accomplishments, including the Centre Pointe Place, Taxworks Corporate Offices, the Sandy Technology Park and Market Place at 18th. This was just a sample of the many first-class buildings in Bonneville Builders' portfolio.

I was impressed with the beauty and quality of the buildings and the unusually positive comments from the occupants. John explained to me that for the past 10 years the company has developed and built commercial projects for many developers, investors, and owners.

"We really pride ourselves in being part of successful projects and being challenged with opportunities to save our clients money and make projects work," John says.

While design/build construction is at the core of the business, John says the key to Bonneville Builders' success is managing all of the tasks in the preconstruction and construction process.

John leads the locally-owned and operated company, with operations from the Wasatch Front to Southern Utah and Southern Nevada.

For Zions Bank, I'm Fred Ball. I'm speaking on business.
