Trent Plaisted plays his first game as a professional tonight.

Plaisted and the Detroit Pistons' Summer League team take on the Los Angeles Lakers summer squad on day one of the NBA Summer League, from the Thomas & Mack Center and Cox Pavilion in Las Vegas.

In case you missed the schedule of Pistons' games I posted a few weeks ago, here you go:

July 11 6:00 PM MT LA Lakers vs. Detroit* COX Pavilion

July 13 8:00 PM MT Detroit vs. LA Clippers COX Pavilion

July 15 4:00 PM MT Detroit vs. Milwaukee COX Pavilion

July 17 2:00 PM MT Dallas vs. Detroit* COX Pavilion

July 18 4:00 PM MT Charlotte vs. Detroit COX Pavilion

* games on NBATV

As noted, the Pistons are one of only a handful of the Summer League teams not to get at least one game on the "big floor" at the Thomas and Mack Center (of the 21 teams participating, 14 play at least once at the T&M, with Houston getting a league-high four appearances).

Detroit's summer roster features a returner in Pistons rookie revelation Rodney Stuckey (a BYU foe from his days at Eastern Washington), and former UCLA standout Arron Afflalo, whom Plaisted faced at Pauley Pavilion, in the first game of the 2006-07 season.
