HANOVER, N.H. (AP) — Dalyn Williams threw a touchdown pass and ran for another score in Dartmouth's 21-3 victory over Colgate on Friday night.
Williams completed 20 of 32 passes for 203 yards and the Big Green (7-1, 4-1 Ivy) piled up 419 yards to rebound from a 14-13 loss to Harvard a week ago in a battle for the league lead.
The Big Red (0-8, 0-5) was held to 194 yards and limited to Zach Mays 30-yard field goal late in the first quarter in losing their ninth straight game. The bright spot was Luke Hagy getting 34 receiving yards to make him the first Ivy League player with 2,000 yards rushing and 1,500 receiving.
Dartmouth took a 14-3 lead at the half on a 2-yard run by Ryder Stone, and Williams hitting Ryan McManus for an 8-yard score, his first touchdown reception of the season. Williams added a 4-yard TD run late in the third quarter.
