Grain mostly higher and livestock lower

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mostly higher Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery advanced 18.50 cents to $5.09 a bushel; September corn was up 4.75 cents to 3.8450 a bushel; December oats were 1 cent higher to 2.2875 a bushel; while November soybeans declined 10.50 cents to $8.85 bushel.

Beef and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. August live cattle was off 1.40 cents to $1.42 a pound; August feeder cattle fell 2.03 cents to $1.9122 a pound; while August lean hogs were .75 cent lower at $.6285 a pound.
