PAWTUCKET, R.I. (AP) — The state is issuing a voluntary recall for a Pawtucket peanut butter product.

WPRI-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1kx2nJ7 ) the Rhode Island Department of Health says Hank's Protein Plus Peanut Butter was operating without a state food business license.

The company stopped producing its products as of Tuesday.

Officials say the peanut butter should not be consumed, though the agency has not yet received any reports of illnesses in connection with the product.
