KID TOWN — Kids say and do the darndest things. But if we're really lucky, kids say and do the darndest things while filming themselves on an iPad, and they have a dad smart enough to see the diamonds in the rough and edit it accordingly.

Will Hale was only the tender age of 5 (he turned 6 two weeks ago) when he decided to secretly film himself on a family iPad recently while his mom was doing laundry. With many boys this age, the tendency toward constantly moving, talking or singing can reveal some entertaining and hilarious gems.

So it is with Will. His dad, Mike Hale, said Will is a "sweet and creative kid that's absolutely obsessed with saving people," so he's often looking out his window to try to catch a glimpse of emergency vehicles as the go by on the canyon road near their home.

"His song about 'never give up on your job' is about firemen… the original version went on for quite a while," Hale said of the edited video he made after finding Will's recording.

But the real peak of the piece might be the end when a seemingly suspicious mom comes to check on Will's chosen activity. I'll let you discover it for yourself by watching the 45-second video above, but I will tell you that Will does it in his "best Batman voice," according to his dad, and it's also his dad's favorite part.

Best of luck with your people-saving dreams, Will! We're rooting for you here at KSL.com.
