Grain mostly lower, livestock mixed

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mostly lower in early trading Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery lost 8 cents to $4.9320 a bushel; December corn was 1 cent lower at $3.9240 a bushel; December oats were 1.50 cents lower at 2.3100 a bushel; while November soybeans gained 8.50 cents to 8.9300 a bushel.

Beef mixed and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle was .10 cent higher at $1.4328 a pound; October feeder cattle was .65 cent lower at $1.9415 a pound; December lean hogs gained 1.50 cents to $.6375 a pound.
