Wide receiver Graden Luckart accounted for three touchdowns as Kearns got off to its best start in more than two decades with a 42-0 win over Copper Hills.
Luckart threw a 66-yard touchdown pass to Shay Reid in the first quarter, then hauled in scoring grabs of 4 and 43 yards from quarterback Bailey Floyd to help the Cougars move to 3-0 for for the first time since 1993.
Sione Finau had a 6-yard touchdown run in the opening quarter for Kearns, and Sam Fetzer scored on an 82-yard run in the third quarter for the Cougars.
Sesa Felila capped the scoring with a 4-yard TD plunge in the third quarter.
