BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (AP) — Leonardo Mayer will lead Argentina's Davis Cup team in its semifinal against Belgium in Brussels next week.

The Argentine Tennis Association named the team Tuesday with 34th-ranked Mayer joined by Federico Delbonis, Diego Schwartzman and Carlos Berlocq.

Argentina has yet to win the Davis Cup, but has been close. It has lost three finals in the last nine seasons — 2006, 2008 and 2011. Argentina also lost the final in 1981. Belgium has also never won the Davis Cup, finishing second in 1904.

The winner of next week's World Group contest will face either Britain or Australia in this year's final.
