SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (AP) — Cavorting raced to a three-length victory over Bar of Gold on Sunday in the Grade 2 $300,000 Prioress Stakes for 3-year-old fillies at Saratoga Race Course.
Ridden by Irad Ortiz Jr. and trained by Kiaran McLaughlin, Cavorting ran six furlongs in 1:09.47 over a fast main track. She paid $4.30, $3 and $2.50.
Cavorting is 3-0 at Saratoga, also winning the Adirondack last summer and the Test on Aug. 8.
Bar of Gold returned $6.80 and $4.90, and Fusaichi Red paid $7.40 to show.
