BOSTON (AP) — Designated hitter David Ortiz has left in the fifth inning of Boston's game against Philadelphia because of right calf tightness.
The 39-year-old slugger connected for a two-run shot against Jerad Eickhoff in the first, lifting the Red Sox to a 2-0 lead. It was his 200th homer at Fenway Park and No. 497 for his career overall.
Ortiz added a sacrifice fly in the second on Sunday.
