MONTICELLO, Ark. (AP) — The two finalists for chancellor at the University of Arkansas at Monticello will visit the campus later this month.

UAM says Ty Handy will visit Sept. 14 and 15 and Karla Hughes will be on campus Sept. 24 and 25. There will be receptions for both on their first day on campus and each will make a presentation.

Handy is currently president of Northwest Florida State College in Niceville, Florida. Hughes is the executive vice president and provost of the University of Louisiana System in Baton Rouge.

The university is seeking a replacement for Chancellor Jack Lassiter, who retired in January.
