SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP) — The San Francisco 49ers have acquired center Nick Easton from the Baltimore Ravens for an undisclosed draft pick, giving the team a backup to Marcus Martin.

The 49ers announced the trade Saturday and the deal was pending a physical. Martin is the slated starter as Daniel Kilgore recovers from a second procedure on his left fibula June 13. He fractured it last October, and is scheduled to be out of his walking boot this coming week. He was placed on the reserve physically unable to perform list, meaning he is eligible to return after six weeks.

Easton is an undrafted free agent out of Harvard.
