CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mixed in early trading Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for December delivery lost 5.50 cents to $4.7340 a bushel; December corn was .50 cent lower at $3.67 a bushel; December oats were .25 cent higher at 2.2460 a bushel; while November soybeans gained 4.50 cents to 8.7860 a bushel.
Beef higher and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
October live cattle was .88 cent higher at $1.4210 a pound; October feeder cattle was .85 cent higher at $1.9715 a pound; October lean hogs lost .35 cent to $.6943 a pound.
