A middle school health teacher under fire from parents for her teaching of sex education has lost her teaching job.

The parents of students at Fort Herriman Middle School say the teacher introduced their children to explicit and crude things they believe don't belong in the classroom. The parents say the teacher also showed students fliers with explicit cartoon images.

A spokesperson for the Jordan School District says the teacher will not return next year. She had been at the school for a year and with the district for two years.
