GLENVIEW, Ill. (AP) — Kelsey Bone scored 25 points and Connecticut kept its slim playoff hopes alive by erasing a nine-point, fourth-quarter deficit to earn a 72-68 win over the short-handed Chicago Sky on Sunday night.

Bone scored seven points in the final six minutes and Chelsea Gray added another six, including a big 3-point field goal for a 64-62 lead.

Connecticut (13-17) would have been eliminated from the playoffs with a loss.

Chicago (18-12) was without league-leading scorer Elena Delle Donne and Cappie Pondexter, who had 22 points in Saturday's 98-96 win over Atlanta to clinch a berth in the playoffs. Delle Donne, who sat out her second straight game with an injured foot, received the WNBA Cares Community Assist Award for July before the game.

Courtney Vandersloot picked up some of the offensive slack, scoring 18 points, but without Delle Donne the Sky were just 1-for-8 from long range.
