FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. (AP) — The Atlanta Falcons have trimmed their roster to 76 players by cutting 13, including running back Michael Ford and tight end Mickey Shuler.

The Falcons also placed offensive tackle Lamar Holmes on the physically unable to perform list on Sunday. Holmes suffered a broken foot in June. The 2012 third-round pick has appeared in 21 games, including 19 starts.

Among other players cut were wide receivers Marquez Clark and John Harris.

The Falcons also waived linebackers Boris Anyama and Terrell Manning, defensive tackles Warren Herring and Derrick Hopkins, offensive linemen Matt Huffer, Eric Lefeld and Valerian Ume-Ezeoke, cornerback Michael Lee and defensive end Sam Meredith.
