TEGUCIGALPA, Honduras (AP) — Alberth Elis scored in the 60th minute to help Olimpia beat the Seattle Sounders 1-0 on Wednesday night in CONCACAF Champions League play.

Olimpia improved to 1-1-0 and Seattle dropped to 1-1-1 in Group F.

Donis Escober made one save for the shutout.

Last week in Seattle, the Sounders rallied to beat Olimpia 2-1 on Erik Friberg's goal in the 90th minute and Brad Evans' penalty kick in the final seconds of stoppage time.

Seattle will complete play in the three-team group at Major League Soccer rival Vancouver (0-1-0) on Sept. 23. Olimpia will finish with two games against Vancouver — in Canada on Sept. 16 and in Honduras on Oct. 22.
