Bettis comes off DL, set to start for Rockies on Tuesday

ATLANTA (AP) — The Colorado Rockies have reinstated right-hander Chad Bettis from the disabled list and optioned right-hander David Hale to Triple-A Albuquerque.

Bettis, who has been out since July 19 with right elbow inflammation, will start on Tuesday night against the Atlanta Braves. Bettis is 5-4 with a 4.88 ERA in 13 starts.

Hale is 3-5 with a 6.15 ERA in 11 games, including 10 starts. He allowed a combined 10 earned runs in 11 innings in his last two starts. He has won only one of his last eight starts.
