OGDEN — An 18-year-old man is in critical condition after a drive-by shooting in Ogden Thursday afternoon.
The man was transported to a local hospital after being shot multiple times just after 12 p.m., according to Ogden City police Lt. Danielle Croyle. Investigators are still working to locate the shooter, who is believed to have been in a silver vehicle traveling north.
The shooting appears to be an isolated incident, according to the Ogden City Police Department. The 2300 block of of Van Buren Avenue is closed to traffic during the investigation. Police recommended commuters avoid the area.
A neighbor reported hearing around four or five shots about two houses down from his home. He said a car carrying between two and four people drove by following the shooting.
