LAS VEGAS (AP) — An airport official says a commercial airliner bound from New York to Los Angeles made an unscheduled stop in Las Vegas after pilots reported a concern about an engine.

No one was injured and firefighters found no immediate danger after Delta Air Lines flight 459 landed about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday at McCarran International Airport, with 156 passengers and crew aboard.

Airport spokeswoman Christine Crews said Thursday the twin-engine Boeing 767-300 taxied to a gate under its own power.

Airline officials didn't immediately respond to messages.

The flight departed New York at 6:35 p.m. Wednesday and had been due to arrive in Los Angeles at 10:09 p.m.

An online schedule shows the flight departed Las Vegas just before midnight and arrived in Los Angeles about 1 a.m.
