SORRY, Christopher Walken fans - but the deadpan actor won't be performing Shakespeare in the Park this summer after all, citing a scheduling conflict.
You'll have to settle for Kevin Kline, who'll join Meryl Streep in Brecht's "Mother Courage and Her Children," beginning Aug. 8.
Translated by Tony Kushner, "Mother Courage" plays through Sept. 3. Free tickets (two per person) are at Central Park's Delacorte Theater and at The Public, 425 Lafayette St. For more information, call (212) 539-8750 or visit publictheater.org. -
