NORMAN, Okla. (AP) — Oklahoma offensive tackle Kenyon Frison has been suspended indefinitely from the team for an unspecified rules violation.

Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops said Monday the redshirt freshman has not been with the team the last several weeks and will not participate in August camp.

Frison is 6-foot-6 and 289 pounds. The top recruit had been in position to make inroads on the team because both starting tackles from last season have graduated — Daryl Williams and Tyrus Thompson.
