CHICAGO (AP) — Nori Aoki has left San Francisco's game against the Chicago Cubs after he was hit by a pitch in the third inning.

Aoki was hit on his batting helmet by a 92 mph fastball from Jake Arrieta. Aoki hit the ground immediately, and a Giants trainer came running out of the dugout to tend to the Japanese outfielder.

Aoki was able to walk off the field under his own power Sunday and was replaced in the lineup by Angel Pagan.
