SALT LAKE CITY — Police are asking the community to help identify and find a man who robbed Zions Bank Monday morning.
The man entered the bank at 1304 Foothill Drive around 9:30 a.m. and indicated he had a weapon. Police said he passed a note to the teller demanding money and received an undisclosed amount of cash.
The man left the bank in a light green or teal subcompact car, witnesses told police. Investigators believe the car to be either a Toyota or Honda.
The robber is about 30 years old and has dark skin. He has a medium build, is about 6 feet 2 inches tall, and was last seen wearing a camouflage hat, a gray jacket with a white T-shirt, black jeans and athletic shoes. He also wore a large, gaudy ring on the pinky finger of his right hand, police said.
