EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — Dr. Russ Warren is stepping down as the New York Giants team doctor after 31 years.
The Giants announced Saturday that Dr. Scott Rodeo will replace him. Rodeo has been an associate team doctor since 2000.
Warren will remain with the organization as an active emeritus team doctor.
Ronnie Barnes, the Giants' senior vice president of medical services who has been with the team since 1976, says Warren "has dedicated his life to advancing the field of orthopedics and sports medicine. We have been extremely fortunate to have him as our team physician for three decades."
