SOUTH OGDEN — An 18-month old girl died after being hit by a vehicle in an apartment complex parking lot Tuesday night.
The baby girl was struck at The Falls at Canyon Rim, 6045 S. Ridgeline Drive, about 9:15 p.m., South Ogden Police Lt. Dwight Ruth said in a prepared statement. She was transported to Ogden Regional Medical Center, where she died from her injuries.
Police haven't released the name of the girl.
There are no "obvious signs" that alcohol, drugs or excessive speed contributed to the incident, but an investigation is ongoing, Ruth said.
