LAS VEGAS (AP) — A British Airways flight from Las Vegas to London was diverted to Montreal.
The airline said in a statement that the captain of the flight headed to London's Heathrow Airport decided to land in the Canadian city Wednesday morning as a precaution.
The airline won't say what prompted the diversion, citing a policy not to discuss operational security.
Passengers safely exited the plane and the airline will provide hotel rooms until they can be rebooked.
Canadian authorities are investigating.
McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas said it did not have any information.
