OGDEN, Utah (AP) — Police say an Ogden couple's verbal altercation escalated with the wife allegedly running over her husband's foot with a car.

The Standard-Examiner reports (http://bit.ly/1Ms62SI) that family members called 911 Saturday around 9 a.m., saying Juanita Flores had injured 21-year-old Jovany Mercado.

Paramedics transported Mercado to a hospital for his injured leg.

Police say the incident began in Harrisville but ended in Ogden.

According to investigators, no arrests have been made because of conflicting stories from everyone involved.

But both the Ogden and Harrisville police are investigating.
