People ask me all the time how I am able to do the things I do. Not that any of it is so amazing, but there is an answer. It's not talent or good looks or timing. It's not Power Bars or Red Bull or retail therapy. The reason I am able to do the things I do is my husband.

His name is Aaron Wilhelm.

He is one of those remarkable human beings who feels entirely comfortable not being the center of attention. We do not compete in any sense, in our careers, for the children's affection, for anything. He puts me first. Always. There is no competition.

He was a radio producer and production director at KSL for ten years before we got pregnant with Ethan, our now 3-year-old. At that development, he figured out a way to work from home. When we found out we were expecting Aiden, our 18-month-old, he told me he would like to be a full time Dad, that the children deserved a full-time parent, and he wanted to be that parent.

I think my reaction was some version of an incredulous, "What? Are you kidding?"

He wasn't kidding. Aaron is a talented, award-winning producer, but he is an inspired father. There is no higher or better use of his talents than in caring for his three older children from his first marriage or for our two little ones. He loves them all. Loving them defines his life and his livelihood.

I am grateful for Aaron everyday, grateful that I can come to work and not worry about the boys because they are home with the person who loves them most in the world. But I am especially grateful for him on Father's Day, the holiday that for me . . . is better than Christmas.
