(KSL News) A former Washington County pastor, teacher and day care operator admitted he tried to sexually abuse an 11-year-old girl.
The Salt Lake Tribune reports Gabriel Carlin pleaded guilty to kissing the girl and trying to fondle her after giving her a ride home in 2006.
He was initially charged with aggravated child sex abuse, but those charges were reduced to attempted sexual abuse of a child as part of the plea deal.
Carlin will be sentenced in September. He faces up to 10 years in prison.
