POPLARVILLE, Miss. (AP) — The Pearl River Community College Board of Trustees has approved a budget of $37.4 million for the 2015-16 academic year during their regular June meeting on the Poplarville campus.
Roger Knight, Vice President for Business and Administrative Services, says the new budget is an increase of $1.3 million over last year's budget.
He projects about $18.4 will go toward salaries and fringe benefits.
The Hattiesburg American reports (http://hatne.ws/1cN1xni ) the board also voted Tuesday to freeze student tuition at last year's level. Tuition for a full-time student is $1,325. The hourly rate for in-state students remains at $115.
