Good news this morning on the economy. Despite a recent spike in the nation's unemployment rate and skyrocketing gas prices, the danger that the economy has fallen into a "substantial downturn" appears to have waned - that's according to the man himself, Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke. The Fed chief said other forces should "provide some offset to the headwinds that still face the economy."


She said the president has stood on the side of emerging democracies in central Europe.
He's going to have a really unbelievably great legacy, with the advantage of hindsight, she said.
