PATERSON, N.J. (AP) — A former substitute teacher has pleaded not guilty to charges that she had sex with underage students and sent them sexually explicit photos by text message and social media apps.

The Record (http://bit.ly/1T2bJtu) reports that Linda Hardan entered her pleas Friday.

The 21-year-old Prospect Park resident is charged with single counts of aggravated sexual assault and criminal sexual contact, two counts of sexual assault and four counts of child endangerment. She could face several decades in prison if convicted on all counts.

Hardan worked as a substitute teacher in Haledon and at Manchester Regional High School in North Haledon. Authorities say two of the victims were 16-year-old boys, while the other two boys were 13 and 14.
