LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — Authorities say an Idaho fugitive accused of recording his sexual assault on an 8-year-old girl and distributing the video has been arrested in Nebraska.
The U.S. Marshals Service said in a news release Tuesday that 41-year-old Justin Dixson was arrested without incident early Sunday morning outside a Lincoln motel.
Will Iverson with the Marshals Service says a woman traveling with Dixson was interviewed and released.
Iverson says Dixson remains in Nebraska, awaiting extradition to Idaho.
Dixson's public defender in Idaho didn't return a call to The Associated Press on Tuesday.
The service says Dixson had been arrested on the Idaho charges in April but had bonded out. Iverson says a warrant was issued after Dixson missed an Idaho hearing.
