JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Jacksonville Jaguars receiver Rashad Greene, a fifth-round draft pick from Florida State, has signed his rookie contract.

Greene is the sixth of the team's eight picks to sign.

Greene says "this is something that you've worked so hard for and to see it become a reality is really a blessing. ... That being said, this is only the beginning. I have a lot of work to do and I can't wait to get to work."

Greene played four seasons at Florida State, totaling 270 receptions for 3,830 yards and 29 touchdowns. He left college as the school's all-time leader in receptions and receiving yards.

As a senior last season, Greene set FSU's single-season record with 99 receptions. His 1,365 receiving yards were second most in school history.
