ELKO, Nev. (AP) — Elko police have arrested three suspects and confiscated two handguns after security guards reported they were threatening to shoot people at the Red Lion Hotel.

Lt. Ty Trouten told the Elko Daily Free Press (http://tinyurl.com/n5ervdt) the trouble began about 4:30 a.m. Saturday. He says officers also found a small amount of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in their hotel room.

The suspects were identified as Joshua Haas, Romano Solis and Jennell Mann.

All three have criminal records.

Solis was arrested three weeks ago after deputies allegedly found $20,000 worth of heroin during a traffic stop on the Lamoille Highway.

Mann was arrested four years ago in connection with an alleged theft at the Wal-Mart in Elko.

Harris also was arrested in 2011 for failure to appear in court on charges of battery and disturbing the peace.
