FARMINGTON — The wet Utah weather caused problems Sunday when a boulder crashed onto the road in Farmington Canyon. The road was then closed for several hours while crews worked to remove it.
Kathy Jo Pollock with the Forest Service said a motorist spotted the boulder, which was nearly the size of a car, and called it in.
Pollock said Farmington Canyon would remain closed for at least three days while their engineers evaluate the area as there is still loose rock falling onto the motorway.
